The beatles would of gone with the teen age group because they was the first band to introduce britsh rock.
The sex pistols was a punk band 1975, they was outrageous and did things that other bands did not do like changed the colour of there hair, got pricings, etc.
Arctic monkeys are a modern band from Sheffield started at 2002 with a indie rock sound to it and they are a quiet band but packed a punch when listening to them.
Oasis is was known mostly for there mod like style and attitude and for how British they was.
I feel like that I would make a Leaflet to be sent as a direct mail and i would make it a type of pop-up to make it different. After reseaching lots of designs and styles, I have gone with the style of Pete Mckee because he is a british graphics artist and he has done lots of music artist.
i tried doing some little doodles of petes work to see how hard they are to draw.
This is a sketch that what i would like my design to be like...
It will be a direct mail and it will be have the logo on the top side of the page above the artist (what are going to be pop up) im going to do in a pete mckee style. Then on the bottom page i will a little bit of information about the place.
I have tyed out how the pop up might work...
Iv started designing some of the artist for my direct mail letter...
I started doing the sexpistols, i had to go around there heads, face strutcher and there body. I did this by getting a picture of them to help me start off then made it opaque so that i could see my lines more better. (halfway throw).

Iv added in all on the artist now im adding colour...
I had to do this again becuase i merged all the layer and needed to change some colours but i could not.
This is a test of what i want my design to be like from the front but with text and the bottom part of the paper. By look at this I know that i need to move the picture or the text so that it is more easy to read. I made this my printing 2 two things off... 1) I had to print the design (the pete mckee design) then cut it out. 2) pring the other with just the name and colour background (not shown because in black and white) then i cut two slits where the image will pop out then made sure that i folded everything correctly, then stuck the image i cute out on the bit i want to pop out.
I did a wash background and then edited it but i did not look as good and bold as i wanted it to so i would not go with his work becuase the point of his work is having block colours.
This is one of the designs what i did for the logo.
Then i up loaded two of my best designs and then edited them a bit so they looked better.
then i tired using a fat marker so that it is more bold because i wanted to test was it looked like. it seemed more obvious as in pete's work he used bold colours so by using a fat/bold pen it will go with the theme.
This is what the text looked like once I got each word from separate pictures and vectorised them so they looked better. I added text but i have not sorted it out like the font and positioning.
Then i thought i would start the front of the page, so i thought that i would put the artist that inspired me to do it this style Pete Mckee but i also did him in his own style.
I got a image from google of a guitar silhouette, then put it into illustrator and made the text bend around the guitar base but i could not get it it where the steme of the guitar is becuase it would not fit.
i was trying out more logos what i could use because i did not like the writed ones as much as i would of thought.
This is a other one of my ideas for a logo is have the text inside of a microphone. i did the same as i did with the guitar but i thought that it might have looked better. I have realised by doing this with different shaps looks good but when put into the direct mail it looks to complicated.
so then i thought i would start to look at english brand logos...
then i start to see the relivents of all of them like how thet call have edited text and how they all have shaps in them like the border around the hinz logo.
Then i came up with this logo so far it was just the text but it has same properties as all the logo from the above with the warped text. I have made it like this becuase it reminds me of a label that would be on a canned product like beans and i think canned stuff like the hinz logo looks british.
Then i added a boreder like the hinz logo and then lines coming out from the side so that it stands out more and lookes more like a lable.

I think that it looks more better than other other logos that i had becuase it stands out more and looks profecinal and goes with the theme of being bold and english.
